Need coverage or do you want to waive your school coverage?

If you are a student looking for coverage, Aetna Student Health℠ has a plan for you. Aetna Student Health gives you access to care by working closely with your school and with a network of doctors, hospitals, pharmacies and specialists throughout the country.

Eligibility
Miami University requires all full-time domestic students (taking 12 or more credit hours), all full-time domestic graduate students (taking 9 or more credit hours), and all international students registered at Miami University to maintain health insurance coverage throughout the academic year.

Domestic Oxford Students: Need health insurance coverage or do you want to waive your school Plan?
Miami University requires you to enroll or waive the school-sponsored insurance plan each academic year. Make sure you have appropriate health coverage so that an unexpected illness or accident doesn’t hold back your academic success.

All eligible domestic students will be automatically enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan unless the completed waiver application has been received and approved by the specified waiver deadline dates.

If you are a full-time student, you may also enroll in the school-sponsored medical plan using the button below.

International Students
Miami University requires all international students registered at Miami University to enroll in the school-sponsored insurance plan each academic year. All eligible international students will be automatically enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan.

Need medical coverage for your dependent?
Covered students may also enroll their lawful spouse, same-sex domestic partner, and dependent children up to the age of 26. Eligible dependent children are the covered student’s or spouse’s child until the date such child attains age 26.

You can enroll or waive participation in the student health insurance plan. You will need your school issued student ID number.
