SAINT LOUIS UNIVERSITY UNDERGRADUATE, GRADUATE AND PROFESSIONAL STUDENTS:

Full Time Domestic and International Undergraduate, Graduate and Professional Students:
All full time, domestic/international undergraduate students enrolled in "degree seeking" programs are required to have health insurance. You may enroll in Saint Louis University's University Health Plan (UHP) or demonstrate you have health insurance coverage that meets Saint Louis University's waiver requirements. Full time students are automatically charged for UHP on their student accounts, but will receive a full refund if waived by the end of the open enrollment period. Full refunds are not given after the end of open enrollment. If you take no action and do not either enroll or waive coverage by the end of the open enrollment period, you will be automatically enrolled in the plan.

Open Enrollment:
Fall semester open enrollment ends September 30.
Spring semester open enrollment ends February 14.
Summer open enrollment ends June 30.

Cost for undergraduate, graduate and professional students are as follows:

Graduate and Professional Students:
All domestic/international graduate/ professional students in a degree seeking program who are not flagged as full time but are taking at least 6 credit hours or more are eligible to voluntarily enroll in the UHP, and will be charged on their student accounts. Students interested in enrolling in the plan should email their name and banner ID to uhp@slu.edu to be added to the Eligibility list. Graduate/ professional students taking less than 6 credit hours are eligible if they are considered full time in a degree seeking program and may have their advisor or department head email uhp@slu.edu with the student's name, banner ID, and program in which they are considered full time in the research portion of their studies.

English as a Second Language Students:
All ESL students who are not flagged full time are eligible to voluntarily enroll in the UHP, and will be charged on their student accounts. ESL students interested in enrolling in the plan should email their name and banner ID to  uhp@slu.edu to be added to the Eligibility list.

Aquinas Students:
All Aquinas students in degree seeking programs are eligible to voluntarily enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan and will be billed through the Student Health Center. Aquinas students interested in enrolling in the plan should email their name and banner ID to  uhp@slu.edu to be added to the Eligibility list.
